Fall Dessert and Tea Table

As some of you already know, this is my favorite season.

I just completely enjoy and appreciate the warm colors of the trees, the smell of wood logs burning in the fireplace and the stillness of each evening as I watch smoke rising from chimneys of other homes in my neighborhood.

It reminds me of the pleasant memories of my teenage years living in the north of England. But more importantly, I enjoy having friends in my home during this season for a warm beverage and sweet homemade treats. The cake pictured is everyone’s favorite...Can you guess what it is?

It’s my very special pumpkin spice cake with port soaked fruit. The tea served in pedestal glass mugs is Indian Masala and the tea served from a teapot is a strawberry and blueberry fusion. The muffins are pumpkin with a cream cheese topping.

Pro Tip : When creating a dessert table, I take special consideration of the colors. Including fall elements will ensure that the dessert table will give your Thanksgiving or holiday decor the elegance and festiveness it deserves.
