Fruit and Baked Camembert Cheese Tray

When your guests arrived and you are in the last 30 minutes of preparing dinner, have this simple and colorful cheese tray ready and they will chat endlessly until it is time to be seated. Offer a small glass of port to further open up your guests appetite. Bon appetit!
INGREDIENTS
¾ lb green seedless grapes ¾ pound red seedless grapes 8 strawberries hulled 10 or more pitted medjool dates 1 triangle block of sharp white cheddar 1 small round camembert ½ teaspoon butter ½ cup pecans 2 tablespoon maple syrup 3 rashers of turkey bacon fried until crispy, and chopped
DIRECTIONS
Set oven temperature to 350 F Butter a small ceramic baking bowl. Use a size that will fit the Camembert snuggly. Arrange nuts and bacon at bottom of bowl then pour on syrup. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes. Invert on cheese tray and arrange other fruit and cheese around Camembert. Serve warm with pieces of french bread.
