Cinnamon Hot Chocolate

I serve a cup of this delicious hot cocoa to my friend’s son after he shoveled our driveway and to my friends with a slice of English shortbread cookie when they come over for movie night.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup Hershey’s cocoa powder

3 cups organic whole milk

2 tablespoon organic sugar

3/4 cup organic whipping

2 tablespoon water

Pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS

Mix together cocoa, sugar, salt and water and set aside.

Pour milk in saucepan and bring to nearly boiling point. Reduce heat and add cocoa mixture to milk. Stir and bring to rolling boil. Remove from heat. Whip cream until thick peaks form. Place teaspoons in each glass and pour hot cocoa into mugs. The spoon absorbs the heat from cocoa. Remove spoon then add whipped cream and cinnamon sticks.
